Situated along the scenic east coast road of Chennai with expansive views to the beach and the Bay of Bengal, the project is set to become a high-end wedding resort destination and a specialty convention center with 3000 people capacity. The project program is designed within a highly condensed footprint that sits within the allowable coastal regulation limits. Large open gardens for outdoor events have been planned towards the east to exploit the beach setting for destination weddings.

The design appropriates the public and cultural nature of the project through a celebration promenade connecting the arrival area with the beach, both visually and physically. The promenade inspired by the traditional pillared Mahals where marriages typically took place, becomes a place that can be customised and themed for every event.

The semi-shaded roof uses patterns derived from the traditional Kolams of South India casting shadows that make the space come to life. The promenade descends down through a ceremonial grand stair that adapts as stage seating for large outdoor events.

To create such a unique large adaptable facility the design focuses on a continuous flexible celebration hall that can be partitioned based on the event size.

Independent prefunction, banquet and dining facilities ensures sequencing of programmes can be effectively done.
